About Essential Oils Blending Calculator
The role of this calculator is to give you an idea about the active chemical components of the blend you want to make and the influence they have on the whole body, both physically and emotionally. Remember that the result cannot be calculated with 100% accuracy because the chemical composition of each essential oil varies with altitude, geographic area and production year.
Each colored bubble represents a different class of chemical components as shown in the first image.
The calculator can be populated with a maximum of 15 essential oils, which can be selected from the side menu of each left field.
In the right field, enter the number of drops (100 max).
After you finish adding the oils, press the 'Calculate' button to display the result of the blend.
* For a blend according to the botanical family or plant part, access 'Classification of Essential Oils by Botanical Families' to find more details about each essential oil. Here you will find even more synonyms about each essential oil.
* For a blend according to the fragrance family or note, access 'Aromatic Fragrance Family Table' to find more details about each essential oil.
* For a blend according to the action of each essential oil, access 'Action Page Tab'.
